The Govt. ITI for Women, Chalakudy was established in August 1990 with three trades. The institute is located at Ward Number XXVIII in Chalakudy Municipality, Thrissur District, Kerala. Presently, the institute functions with 12 units in five trades, namely Computer Operator and Programming Assistant, Electronic Mechanic, Interior Design & Decoration, Draughtsman Civil, Fashion Design & Technology. The total strength of trainees undergoing training in all trades is 262 Nos. This institute is situated in 0.4047 hectors of land.
